Do you have any forums experience? Yes

Explain how to move a forums thread. I would need to be taught how.

A new player joins with a realistic-looking name, but it’s clearly meant to mock a real-world tragedy or group. They claim it’s “just dark humor.” As staff, how do you handle this and why? Explain to them that it is inappropriate and insensitive and ask them to change it to a name that complies with server policy. Making sure I enforce these standards helps to maintain the hospitality of the server community.

During a robbery scene, a player messages another outside the game to warn them what’s about to happen. The scene continues normally. As staff reviewing the report, what concerns you most and how do you handle it? I would be mainly concerned with the Metagaming aspect of the situation. I would review all clips available, screenshots, etc. then give out the necessary punishment for the rule broken, as well as reiterate the server policy to the player(s) involved in the situation.

A player walks away from an active RP situation without saying anything and later claims, “My character wouldn’t care.” How do you judge whether this was valid character choice or roleplay avoidance? Look at the clips and observe if it was really a decision their character would make or if they were just trying to avoid a certain situation/scene during RolePlay. If the player just walked away without providing any roleplay, response, or reasonable explanation during the scene, it may be considered roleplay avoidance.

You notice a rule issue developing within a scene. How would you go about what your seeing in the scene? I would observe and gather as much information as possible without immediately disrupting the roleplay unless the violation is severe enough to require intervention then determine whether a rule was actually broken or if it was a mistake after monitoring all parties involved.

A player repeatedly uses mechanics to gain advantages but technically follows the scripts correctly. How do you decide whether this is clever gameplay or abuse that hurts roleplay? I would look into how their actions are effecting the RolePlay at hand, if somebody is repeatedly using mechanics in a way that creates unfair advantages, bypasses intended roleplay, and/or negatively affects others and their experience, i would considered that abuse rather than clever gameplay.

Two players give completely different versions of a scene. Both seem confident and neither has video. How do you investigate and make a fair decision as staff? I would remain neutral and since I can’t rely on their video evidence I would make a decision based off of logs, screenshots (if available), chat records, witness accounts (if available), etc. If I don’t have enough information to make a decision on punishment I would hand it to higher management and document the situation for future reference.

You notice the same player appears in multiple reports—not always guilty, but always involved in messy situations. At what point does this become a concern, and how should staff address it? I would focus on the different incidents as a whole and review the different situations. Once reviewed, have a conversation with them and discuss the pattern and provide guidance on how to handle the issues that are appearing to keep from harming the community or creating unnecessary problems/choas.

A player takes a huge risk in a dangerous situation and loses their character as a result. They complain that it was unfair. How do you explain consequences while still being respectful and professional? I would reiterate the importance of the “Value Your Life” rule and how that requires that your character acts with reasonable concern for their safety. Explain to them that RolePlay actions have consequences, especially when they take significant risks in dangerous situations.

A civilian resists police in a situation that realistically would not justify extreme actions. How do you judge whether the player acted realistically or just wanted an outcome? Firstly check the risk level of the situation and if the players behavior was consistent with realistic behaviors because not every act of resistance is unrealistic, but if a civilian escalates a minor encounter into an extreme situation without reasonable justification, it may indicate they were chasing a desired outcome rather than roleplaying naturally.

A player roleplays severe injuries during a scene but is completely fine an hour later with no explanation. How should staff handle situations like this to maintain consistency? It is written that severe injuries (for example GSW) are to be RolePlayed the full 4 hours or tsu to tsu. I would want to listen to their reasoning for not rping the full length written out and ask for the injuries they were roleplaying as well as the clip of how they got the injuries. But as staff I would reiterate the server policy and tell them they are to continue role playing out their injuries depending on the severity of the injuries, if they do not comply then handle the situation with the proper punishment. My goal is to encourage consistent, believable roleplay while ensuring fairness and immersion for everyone involved.

You make a ruling that a player strongly disagrees with, but it’s fair and consistent. They continue arguing. How do you handle this while maintaining authority and professionalism? I would try to still remain calm, respectful, and professional while still explaining my reasoning for why I came to that specific conclusion. If they still disagree I would inform them of the proper appeal process or direct them to a higher ranking staff member they can talk to about the decision made on the matter.

Some one in the discord makes a ticket regarding applications, how would you respond to their ticket? If they applied and are wondering about its status, I would reiterate the fact that management staff is handling all applications and that their application is in the line up, once a decision is made they will be contacted regarding their application.
