Have you ever been staff in a serious server? Yes i have. I have been staff in Lincoln Park RP, White City Chicago, Chicago Stories, Glenwood Ave, and Windy Stories 2012

All staff are required to be apart of a department. Please provide a department that you wish to be apart of upcoming joining the team. If accepted to staff, I would want to be in the PD department or the School staff department.

Please provide a example of a proper /me & /do. A proper example of a /me is "/me would hand the male a rolled up bag containing 4 grams of weed" and a proper /do is "/do would have visible injuries to his head."

Please list your time zone and your availability. My timezone is EST and I am available Afternoons through the night everyday.

Do you have any forums experience? Yes

Explain how to move a forums thread. To move a thread you would click on the thread your trying to move then click on the 3 dots which is typically in the top right, then you would want to find Move to and find which category your going to.

A new player joins with a realistic-looking name, but it’s clearly meant to mock a real-world tragedy or group. They claim it’s “just dark humor.” As staff, how do you handle this and why? If a player was to join with a name representing a tragedy I would ban them until they comply to use a regular name as some tragedies in these cases can also be considered as TOS.

During a robbery scene, a player messages another outside the game to warn them what’s about to happen. The scene continues normally. As staff reviewing the report, what concerns you most and how do you handle it? Typically I would ban/adminjail the player for metagaming, but if the other person isnt in city at all and its faction related and they just wanted to let there homie know "oh yeah i just got robbed by thf" and then later on they tell eachother in game what happened and handle it like that. But if the player is in city and around to prevent this from happening due to the other person metagaming I would ban the Player for Metagaming.

A player walks away from an active RP situation without saying anything and later claims, “My character wouldn’t care.” How do you judge whether this was valid character choice or roleplay avoidance? If a player were to walk away an RP situation without no actions I would typically ban them for NVL, but it really depends on the situation. Most cases people would walk away in order to not die, but if im just asking someone for their phone number but they dont decide to give it to me and walk away without saying anything I would judge it as valid character choice.

You notice a rule issue developing within a scene. How would you go about what your seeing in the scene? I would let the scene fully complete itself and then when everything has happened I would start adminjailing/banning players who were rule breaking during the scene in order to not ruin anyones eyes in case they were streaming and to keep the RP experience genuine overall.

A player repeatedly uses mechanics to gain advantages but technically follows the scripts correctly. How do you decide whether this is clever gameplay or abuse that hurts roleplay? In most cases it would be clever gameplay if its technically following everything. But if it gets to a point to where hes winning fights/gunfights or successfully escaping PD every single time thats when it would be abusing game physics.

Two players give completely different versions of a scene. Both seem confident and neither has video. How do you investigate and make a fair decision as staff? I simply can not make a ruling if there is no video on either person. And I say this because if I go off someones word the other person would get mad if he was being honest, vice versa. I would simply tell them to go on about it and I cant due to nothing due to insufficient proof.

You notice the same player appears in multiple reports—not always guilty, but always involved in messy situations. At what point does this become a concern, and how should staff address it? It becomes a certain point when that player specifically gets called out, but if he/she is not getting called out I would still spectate them just to make sure they are not the cause of the problems.

A player takes a huge risk in a dangerous situation and loses their character as a result. They complain that it was unfair. How do you explain consequences while still being respectful and professional? I would simply tell them they have to hold their CK. High risk equals a High reward. You wont always come out on top. If a player jumped off a bridge in order to get away from police thinking he would not die then he would simply be holding his CK.

A civilian resists police in a situation that realistically would not justify extreme actions. How do you judge whether the player acted realistically or just wanted an outcome? It depends on the situation, If a male got pulled over for a broken headlight but decide to escalate and just give some words back to the officer I would consider it realistic. But if the male starts driving away recklessly and running before the Police can even ID themselves upon walking up to the vehicle I would consider it just wanting an outcome and give them a ban for cop baiting.

A player roleplays severe injuries during a scene but is completely fine an hour later with no explanation. How should staff handle situations like this to maintain consistency? Staff should give them a stern warning to always remember to RP INJURIES ACCORDINGLY. but if it keeps happening staff should start giving out adminjails or bans to those who cant follow the rules.

You make a ruling that a player strongly disagrees with, but it’s fair and consistent. They continue arguing. How do you handle this while maintaining authority and professionalism? I would simply explain to the person how its a fair ruling and that nothing else can be done about it and simply go on about my day. No reason to argue back to others, that can ruin the servers reputation.

Some one in the discord makes a ticket regarding applications, how would you respond to their ticket? I would simply tell them to wait for the update on the actual forum.
